Today’s photo shows Alois Kuchejda, the first employee of Seibel und Weyer. Alois was responsible for complicated orders and the apprenticeship of a few tens. Some of our current employees learned the trade from Alois and still benefit from his great knowledge. In 2001 he officially went into retirement after 50 years of working. Never the less, the next day he returned to his joiner’s bench. After 13 more years of passionate working at Seibel und Weyer he sadly passed away. Many employees still call him “the foreman”, so to say the one and only.
